Opportunity Through Data aims to improve equity in the field of data science by offering a comprehensive introduction to individuals who would ordinarily not have access. We won funding in the 2018 Big Ideas competition, and plan on piloting our program for high school students in under-served schools in the Bay Area. In the future, we hope to teach classes at the Federal Correctional Institution Dublin, a minimum-security women's prison in the East Bay.
